Ethiopia`s political season has attracted a government worker who decided to run against his employer.
A young radio broadcaster, Andom Gebreselasse, is running for parliament in Mekele for the upcoming 23 May national election. Andom picked the Arena Tigray party to support him.
The problem is that he works for the Voice of the Weyane, a station operated by the ruling Tigray People`s Liberation Front.
His decision has surprised and perplexed Arena officials.
