Three VOA Amharic reporters discussed independent and government reporting on human rights in Ethiopia. Tizita Belachew, Alula Kebede and Henok Fente discussed human rights reporting performed by international rights groups such as Human Rights Watch and the U.S. State Department. They said the Ethiopian government seldom calls for an investigation of the allegations and often calls the charges "fabrications."
