The World and Olympic 10,000 champion Tirunesh Dibaba completed an all-Ethiopian dominance at the 16th African Athletics Championships in Addis Ababa.
Tirunesh Dibaba surged with a burst of last minute speed past her elder sister, Ejigayehu Dibaba, 150 meters from the finish line claiming the regional title to herself finishing in 32:49.08.
Ejigayehu took silver in 32:50.36 and Wude Ayalew completed Ethiopia’s dominance in long distance running.
