An economist at William and Mary College in Williamsburg, Virginia says the current U.S. financial crisis will not have a significant impact on Ethiopia, which has its own economic problems. However, the increase in the price of gas around the world will have serious implications for the price of most of consumer goods in the Horn of Africa.
